Thank you Michael Heppel. I haven’t been part of Team 17 for very long but during that time I’ve met some wonderful people who are truly inspirational. I’d particularly like to thank Sarah McGeough who has led and motivated our small ~fitcommit group. The fitcommit members also deserve a thank you for being a warm, caring and supportive group.
Thank you Michael. It’s a great journey with you.
I’d like to thank, with all my heart, the people involved when my daughter’s dog ran into the road outside her house yesterday. From the driver and his instant reaction to brake, to all the other drivers who avoided him as he bolted through the village and ran across the main road, to the guy who gently coaxed him into a nearby petrol station, to the staff there who calmed him, the neighbours who joined the search for him and the vet who thoroughly examined him and declared him undamaged. Every person showed immense humanity and kindness to our daughter and partner, to the dog and to each other. It was a whole collection of goodness, and I am immensely grateful to them all. And to the gods of luck who distributed it so liberally in that seven terrifying minutes.
Thank you Michael for all your support and advice in helping me fulfil my dream of becoming a published writer. Here’s to a great future for all of us in the Heppellverse! X

Thank you Michael for being such an inspiring leader and coach. I feel so very lucky to have randomly spotted the fb advert for your course! A special thank-you to Dawn Booth, who has supported and motivated me in small group MAPS, through Team 17 and been a constant source of positivity and belief in my plans, even though they creep forward like the tortoise 🐢 versus the hare in the well known story. Without both of you I would have long given up!

A tiny bit of background.
I spent 30 odd years in Corporate land, 27 of those years at Coca-Cola and quite frankly could not wait for it to come to an end.
I’m crazy keen on rugby and played to a high standard, not quite international but not far off.
So I found this brilliant job as a tour guide at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, I love it and I choose my own hours.
We have a security lodge at the stadium and although I rarely need to go there, from day 1 I always made the point to say good morning and good night to the security guys. I didn’t do it in the expectation of some reward, it just seemed like good manners and they seemed to appreciate it.
5 years on it turns out there is a reward, if I ever need any help from the security guys they can’t be more helpful towards me.
A tin of sweets at Christmas for the last 5 years has always been appreciated by them
Thank you Michael for your enthusiasm and support to enable me to become a Published Author. I’m still pinching myself.
Also, thank you to all at WTB. I have met some amazing people who are now very good friends.
Hoping you had a lovely Christmas with your family and wish you all the best with your new ventures in 2025. Many thanks Gail x
