The Best Things in Life are Free.
Really?
Nothing is free. Everything has a cost:
- Financial is just a part of the equation.
- Add time, energy, values, deciding on one thing over another, etc.
Knowing this helps your choices.
Claiming there are not enough hours in the day, but finding time for Tik-Tok* seems weird to me. But it’s a minute-by-minute choice for many.
I’m excluded from the conversation about the latest Netflix sensation as I’d rather go for a walk than binge-watch Game of Thrones or Peaky Blinders. That’s a price I’m happy to pay.
Cooking meals from scratch takes time, knowledge and skill. Ready meals and takeaways are more expensive and often less healthy, but they are faster and more convenient (with less washing up). Luckily that’s a positive choice Mrs H makes.
Reading a book that makes you better is more beneficial than watching local news. But as an author, I would say that.
Enough of my choices. What costs are you prepared to pay?
I’ll send a copy of my Limited Edition 17 Blue here to our favourite. Please leave your comments and thoughts on the web version of this newsletter below.
