When I researched my book The Edge, I asked dozens of super successful people if they practiced a daily routine.

It’s no surprise that most did.

For some, it was early morning exercise and meditation.

For others, it was completing their must do list for the next day before they finished the last one.

One of my favourites was the 80-year-old who ended the day with a wee dram of single malt whisky. She had done so every day for the last 60 years.

Mine is completing my Grateful List – frequently written, sometimes shared … but never forgotten.

It’s such a simple idea.

At the end of each day I list 5 things to be grateful for; it often acts as the lens I need to put everything into perspective.

Tonight, one of my five will be that I am grateful you read my newsletters. My open and read rate is still extremely high and I really do appreciate your interest.

Be Brilliant!

I remember the day we spoke about my plan for my job and the future.
I said I should quit my job and go it alone by the end of the year. I did and I am so grateful for that chat and decision.

I’m grateful to be able to call you and Christine friends and for the massive help and support you gave me this week when I really needed it.
