Hidden in Plain Sight

Hidden in Plain Sight

You know what I love?

Easter eggs.

Not the chocolate ones (though I won’t say no), but the ones tucked away in films, books and games.

Do you know the type? The inside jokes or references that only the superfans catch. A wink to the past. A nod to the knowing. An aha for the attentive.

I went to see the new Bridget Jones film the other day. It’s packed with these ‘Easter eggs’.

Hidden moments that link back to the original films. Fun if you spot them.

I didn’t. Not one. But my daughter? She caught loads. ‘Did you see that?’ she’d ask.

I hadn’t.

It turns out, she’s the Jones whisperer. I’m Bridget blind.

But they were there. Right in front of me. I just wasn’t looking.

And isn’t life full of those Easter eggs too?

Little clues. Opportunities. Moments.

Often right there in plain sight.

But if you don’t know where to look, or you’re too distracted, you miss them.

This weekend, why not go on your own Easter egg hunt?

Not for chocolate. For insight. For possibility.

Maybe there’s an idea you’d shelved too quickly.

A person who keeps popping into your mind

That ‘one-day’ project whispering… ‘Today?’

Sometimes the most brilliant and obvious things are just waiting to be discovered. Right there, in plain sight.

All you have to do… is look.

Happy Easter.
