The world doesn’t need more thinkers.
It doesn’t need more planners.
It definitely doesn’t need more ‘waiting-for-the-right-timers.’
It needs Doers.
The Doer is the person who sees the gap and steps in. Who acts while others are still downloading the PDF. Who doesn’t have all the information - but gets started anyway.
While some are asking, ‘What do I wear for this?’ the Doer has laced up their shoes and made the first move.
Doers aren’t perfect. They make mistakes. They backtrack. They get things gloriously wrong.
But they’re in the game.
In my keynotes, I often share a little truth bomb upfront that gets a few nods (and the occasional nervous laugh). I say: It wouldn’t be surprised if, at the end of this talk, someone comes up and says, ‘That's brilliant, Michael… but I know it.’
And I’ll ask, ‘Do you do it?’
The secret isn’t in the knowing. The secret’s in the doing.
Knowing is comfy. Doing is scary.
It involves effort. Exposure. Commitment. But it’s where all the magic lives.
Right now, the world feels a bit… paused. We can wait for things to be clearer. For the timing to be better. For circumstances to settle.
But Doers? They know there’ll never be a perfect time.
They don’t need perfect.
They need purpose.
If you’ve been sitting on an idea, a goal, or a little glimmer of ‘maybe someday’… let today be that day.
Because progress always outruns perfection.
This is the rise of the Doer.
Are you in?
Be Brilliant!
Michael
